| · One of the members of the Six Houses of Kyoto · Cousin to Suzaku Kururugi · Has a crush on Luluko vi Britannia  Kaguya Sumeragi is Suzaku Kururugi's cousin and after the fall of Japan to Britannia starts to help the terrorists by being an important member of the Six Kyoto Houses. They fund and supply the terrorists with weapons and hideouts, trying to win back Area 11 to be Japan once more. Kaguya does not agree with Suzaku's choice of joining the Britannian military and wishes he would join their side and help expel Britannia from Japan fully. She was stunned when Suzaku was chosen as the Princess Luluko vi Britannia's personal Knight and she watched the ceremony on television. To her shock, that night she found herself dreaming of the Princess and starting to wonder if maybe this woman could be the saviour of them all. She'd heard stories as had most people about the potential of all of the Princes and Princesses with regards to the throne and she recalled Luluko as being one of the names she had read about - she'd just never seen her before. Realizing she could make use of Suzaku's relation to the Princess she started planning for the day Luluko would visit Area 11, helping create a situation in the region that required Royal attention. Her plans foundered when it was announced that the Princess was to be wed to her Knight by the Emperor himself. Wondering why he would not only allow such a thing but actually give her away, she prepared spies and had them deployed into what would become the Princess' new home as she was to become the Governor-General of the Area. Many believed the wedding between the two a political ploy to subdue the Area and were more determined to fight against it, even if Suzaku had joined the other side; he was still the son of their last Prime Minister and a son of Japan. Kaguya suspected other motives and kept a close eye on the Royal Couple when they arrived, soon realizing that they were deeply in love and ensuring the word got spread through the terrorist organizations that this did not appear to be political at all in intention. Still, she wanted Suzaku out of the way a bit so she could have a chance to get close to the woman who filled her dreams. |
